To prevent mass hysteria from sweeping the globe, I must deny that the gods of Olympus are still among us, and that mythological monsters walk the earth. Under no circumstances should you believe that you – Yes, you! – might be a son or daughter of the Greek gods. Percy Jackson sends his regards. He is presently attending school in New York, fending off monstrous teachers, poisonous cafeteria food, and the other usual perils of seventh grade. He has not been kicked out yet, but he still has several months to go, so he has not given up hope.
